Rose's Netbook Reflection 2013

This year I have found using my netbook to be successful.
I have enjoyed using my netbook because...
I can comment on class blogs and individual blogs and give ideas to the person as to what they need to work on.You can comment on schools and say how you liked their videos and poems.You can take a look at their work and if its good you can just make a comment on how it looks fantastic.I love having an individual  blog because when you finish a piece of work you can just post it onto your individual blog and it will show you how many posts you have put on your blog.


The barriers in using my netbook are...
Flash problems on Maths Whizz.When we go onto our netbook and it’s time for Maths Whizz sometimes my Maths Whizz programme has a flash problem.When my netbook is not working for Maths Whizz we go onto sumdog or finish off some work.Sometimes when we have flash problems with Maths Whizz we always refresh and it works and we start our tutor until it’s over till the end of the session in case it’s morning tea or lunch.


The interesting aspects/parts to using my netbook are...
Going on the Room five site.When you're on a  document and you have to find information you can go on your netbook and go onto Panmure Bridge School site and you go on the Room five site and you can find your information from anywhere like in
Reading,Maths,Art,Writing and Topic and a whole bunch of stuff.

 Art: Reflecting on my Abstract Painting

1. Are you pleased with your abstract painting? why / why not?

Yes because I’ve put effort into it and I’ve tried my best.


2. What did you find easy when you created your abstract painting?
I found it easy drawing the squares because you could just rule it up and just draw lines.


3. What part did you find tricky when you were creating your abstract painting? -think about painting, ruling it up etc.
Drawing the lines because every time you had to do it you would rule the line crooked.

4. Who / What helped you when you were painting?
Miss Paton and Caitlin helped me with my painting.

5. What would you do differently next time? Think about: colours, painting, ruling of grid, etc.
I would rule the grid slowly and carefully because if I ruled it fast I would make a mistake.


6. What frustrated you when you created your abstract painting?
The frustrating part of my painting was the bottom little square because I didn’t know what  colour to paint it and I was confused.

• Bullying

One morning there was a boy named Brian and he lived with his mother and father in a rich house.Brian’s mother had to go to work and his father as always he had to go t0 work too. After Brian’s mother and Father would go work  it.Would only be Brian and Brian’s little baby sister Angela at home.

Brian went to school it was his first day at school and his mother gave him some money for his lunch .At lunch time Brian sat down with some new friends.After for a while there came along a big bully who was really mean and his name was Eric and he came to Brian’s table to his friend and he went to Brian and said’’Give me your lunch money.Brian said ’Why?in a scared voice.

Eric was saying Just give me your lunch money.Brian was really scared and he said to him to stop being a bully he yelled out.He took Brian outside because he wanted to teach him a lesson and when Brian went home he went in tears.His mother wasn’t pleased and they went down to the office of the school and took care of it.Eric was there.Eric crunched his fingers at
Brian telling him that he is going to get smashed tomorrow at school.

Brian had very bad nightmares of Eric.One day when Eric was not at school Brian stood up in cafeteria and told everyone to stand up to Eric so they did and
Eric learned a lesson from them and they became  friends and they all lived...

The Three Best Friends

One Day there were three best friends named Jessica,Julia and Brian.Jessica was a great person who had Brown hair her eyes were hazel and she was a nice student to everyone.Her other friend named Julia was a maths person.She would really talk boring to everyone but she is still the best friend to Jessica.The last friend is Brian now he was kind of like Julia but because he was a science person.He uses chemicals and other stuff to make something.He wears lots of jackets and talk very much.Julia always were to school tights and different kind of shoes to school. After school all the three best friends would always hang outside of their own houses. One day when they would hang outside again there mother’s thought of moving tomorrow because they needed to go to their aunt's wedding.All of them was going to miss their old home and now they all had to move. When everyone was on the plane everyone was safe but on one night things abouted to change around in the plane.

People would scare other persons and some would put some snakes on people when they sleep and the worst is that they they would come up to you and stab you until you would die onto the floor.After that their plane crashed but they were still alive and they did not know what to do so the three best friends built stuff with Brian’s science stuff Julia's maths and for Jessica’s niceness.They rescued their lives and their family’s lives to and all of them hanged out together again and they never talked about that ever again and then they lived...

The Three Little Pigs

One bright day there were three little pigs who lived with their mother. In the afternoon the three little pigs mother told them that they were too old to live with her and to build their own houses to stay in. So the three little pigs set off to find their own land to build on. After a while the first little pig found some hay and he built his house out of hay. The second little pig was playing around after he fell over some wood.


After that he had an idea and he built his house out of wood. For the last pig he did not know what to built his house out of. He  looked for something to build with but he couldn’t find anything until he found some bricks. He had an amazing idea of building his house out of bricks.Then he stayed up at night time to finish it. After he built his house all of the pigs had something to stay in. The next day someone came along stomping and running. It was the big bad wolf.


The big bad wolf came stomping down to the first little pig’s house and said to the first little pig “Oh little pig, little pig why don’t you let me in” so the first little pig yelled “No, I will not let you into my house built out of hay”. The wolf got angry and he told the first little pig that he was going to huff and puff and blow his house down. The first little pig ran to the second  little pig’s house. The big bad wolf ran to the second little pig’s house.

The wolf said to the two little pigs “Little pigs, little pigs, let me in”. The second little pig said to the wolf ‘’Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin. I will never let you in my house made out of wood’’.  After that the pig said “No”. The wolf  got angry again and said ‘’I will huff and I'll  puff and I will blow your house down,” threatened the wolf. The wolf blew the house down and after that the two little pigs ran as fast as they could to the third little pig’s house. When they were running to the third little pig’s house which was built out of bricks the pig opened his door to let them in. The third little pig locked the door because he did not want the wolf to come in. For a while the big giant wolf came stomping around the third little pig’s house.When he came along all of the three little pigs shouted‘’Go away!’’to the big bad wolf.

The wolf cried “Little pigs, little pigs let me in!” The three little pigs said “We
will not let you in our house made out of bricks”. The giant wolf got so angry he said  “I am going to huff and puff and blow your house down!’’ but when he tried to blow the pig’s house
down he couldn’t because it was made out of bricks.
When he was tired of trying to  blow the house down he jumped onto the roof and into the chimney.All of the three little pigs had put a pot under  the chimney and when the wolf climbed into the chimney he just fell right into the pot
and got eaten by the three little pigs, and they lived......

Introduction

The first woman on space was Valentina Tereshkova and the second woman on space was Helen Sharman. The Third woman into space was Sally Ride who was American. Svetlana Savitskaya went into space for the Soviet Union.




Valentina  Vladimirovna Tereshkova is a retired soviet cosmonaut and the first  women to have been blown in space, having been selected for than four hundred applicants and five finalists to pilot. Valentina  Vladimirovna Tereshkova Is a wonderful Space person and all the other space people that have been to the moon.



The british woman was very brave when she was the first woman to the moon out of the british womens.  She worked at sweet company that makes Mars bars and she was part of the Russian Mission MIR space station.She has stayed in space for eight days.After eight months she has been training to become a first british woman on the moon.


Sally Ride has been the third person on the moon and she was born on the May 26, 1951.Sally Ride Died July 23, 2012,.Sally Ride was an American physicist and now she is the third woman in space.Her Education was Stanford University.She joined the NASA in 1978 and at the age of 62.



Svetlana Savitskaya was a the Fourth person on the moon and she was born on August 8 1948.Svetlana Savitskaya was in space for 19 years after Valentina Tereshkova.Svetlana Savitskaya was the second woman in space in july 25 1984.Svetlana Savitskaya  was the first woman to walk on the in space.Her real name is Svetlana Yevgenyevna Savitskaya and Svetlana Savitskaya dreamed of flying since early childhood.



Every Space Woman that has been to the moon has been wonderful and I hope you guys hopefully have a great time with your lives on becoming a Space.

Valerie Adams is a  famous shot putter.She was in the olympics and she broke many world record to make people proud.Valerie Adams Mother was Tongan and her father was English. New Zealand wishes her good luck in the Olympic Game.

Valerie Adams was born on 6th october 1984 Rotorua, New Zealand. Valerie Adams mothers name was Lilika Ngauamo and her fathers name is Sydney Adams.She had several brothers.Valerie youngest brother was played basketball in the United States of America.Valerie Adams went to Otara Primary School when she was a little girl.Valerie Adams mother died when she was 15 years old.But her mother really inspired her and she was brave and confident when her mum died.Everyone is sorry for her lost.

She broke many world record for shot put in bare feet in the junior champions. She won 12 gold medals, 5 silver medal and one bronze medal.She won a gold medal at the 2006 commonwealth games and she also won a gold medal at the Beijing 2008 games.


Valerie Adams Coach’s name is Kirsten Hellier.She was a well know javelin thrower.Her second coach was Bidder Poppe.In 2010 her third coach is Jean Pierre Egger and been with her ever since.

Valerie Adams will make New Zealand proud and everyone wishes her good luck. Everyone hopes she comes back with medals and everyone is very proud of her. New Zealand hopes she comes back with medals. I wish her a big good luck.

1.Describe three things  you learnt on the motat trip?
I have learnt that there are big aeroplanes and small aeroplanes. I learnt that the thing that makes the aeroplane goes up is the wings and the propeller. I have learnt that there are Helicopter and planes in the motat trip.

2.Describe three things you want to learn more about on the topic flight.
I would like to learn more about Hot Air Balloons,Helicopters and Jets.

3.Describe three things you enjoyed doing on the motat trip and say why you enjoyed them.
I enjoyed the mirror maze because you could have fun in it and because you could try to find your way out and I enjoyed the shaking earthquake cause when you press the button the earthquake shakes around.I enjoyed the part when we made wings with a girl named Ana from motat because when we were finished with our wings we tested it out and we had fun in it and it was so cold.
